1. Identification and general information
These Terms and Conditions regulate the access and use of the website www.peugada.pt (from now on designated as Website), propertery of Susana teresa Alves Neves (from now on designated as “Peugada”) with NIF: 222864567, and also the general selling conditions from the products and services made available by Peugada on its website.
As a User of Peugada you must fully accept these conditions, as well as further modifications and/or legal texts that Peugada might include in the future.
2. User data and Website conduct
To purchase the available products in this website, users must chose between:
- Register in advance: the user can register for an account by filling the registration form that is available through the website’s header or during the checkout by marking the option for account creation. The required information for the registration (email and password) is requested to inform the user of its order status.
- The user can make a purchase without having to register for an account. During checkout, the user must give to Peugada the necessary information for billing and shipping.
The user must confirm that the billing and shipping information is correct and must inform Peugada when there are changes to the information provided during checkout.
It’s not allowed to use the user information by the website for fraudulent purposes or related to criminal offenses or unlawful activities of any kind.
It is also prohibited to send, use or reuse illegal, offensive, abusive, indecent, defamatory, obscene or threatening material of any kind or that implies a violation of copyright, trademarks or confidentiality, privacy or any other right, or in any way injurious or objectionable to third parties, or whose content contains computer viruses, political advertising, advertising, chain emails or any other type of “spam” and, in general, any type of unnecessary inconvenience.
The user commits to make lawful, diligent, honest and correct use of all information and content accessed through this Website and all of it in accordance with the principles of good faith and with respect at all times for current legality.
Likewise, the user undertakes not to maliciously or intentionally cause damage or harm that may belittle, alter the Website, as well as not to introduce or spread computer viruses that may produce unauthorized changes to the contents or the systems that are part of the Website.
3. Orders and conditions of sell
Peugada accepts orders with shipping to Portugal (including islands), Spain, (excluding islands and regions of Ceuta, Melilla and Gibraltar) and the rest of the European Union countries. The different destinations are subject to the shipping conditions established in this Website (see section 7.2).
Under no circumstances will Peugada intentionally offer more unites for sale than the ones that it has. In the event that the product is not available after the order has been placed, the user will be informed by email or phone, with the option to delay the delivery, exchange the product by a similar one or refund the paid amount.
4. Prices
All prices of products in this Website are in euros and include VAT and other taxes that may apply.
5. Payment Methods
Payments are always made in euros, even when prices are shown in other currencies. Some banking entities may charge exchange fees. Peugada is totally is not responsible to this fact and assumes no responsibility for it.
Once the order has been formalized, that is, after acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and after payment of the order, Peugada will always send an email to the user confirming the details of the purchase. The order will only be sent after Peugada receives confirmation that the payment has been completed.
To pay for your order, in the payment area of the Checkout page, you can select the payment method that is most convenient for you:
5.1 MB WAY
When selecting this payment method, you will be asked during checkout for your phone number so that, afterwards, you can confirm payment in the next few minutes.
You have 5 minutes to make the payment. We will be automatically notified of your payment.
5.2 Multibanco (MB)
In the ordering process you can select payment via ATM, which will generate a payment reference. We will be automatically notified of your payment.
Payments done by “Referência Multibanco” (Multibanco Reference) can be made through the ATM Network or through your Homebanking. When finalizing your order, an ATM reference will be automatically generated. You will receive this reference in the order confirmation email, being it also available in your customer account if you have an account in this Website.
To make payment at an ATM, you must select the option “Payment for Services/Purchases” and enter the corresponding entity, reference and value.
The products in your order are reserved for 5 days. If Peugada doesn’t receive the order payment within this period, the order will be canceled.
5.3 Bank Transfer
You can choose to pay by bank transfer. The elements required for the transfer are:

We suggest that, if possible, include the order number in the movement description. The costs with the transfer order will be the responsibility of the customer.
Before Peugada processes your order, it will need to receive and confirm the payment with the bank. To ensure that your order is not delayed, please provide your name, Order Number along with your payment information. Your Order Number can be found in the Order Confirmation email.
The products in your order are reserved for 5 days. If Peugada does not receive payment for the order during this period, the order will be cancelled.
What can I do to ensure there are no delays in processing my payment?
Ensure that you indicate the payment reference number when making the payment and that you follow the instructions in your order acceptance email. Ensure that you pay for the correct amount, including VAT and shipping costs, if applicable.
5.4 Credit Card
The user must pay the amount corresponding to his order by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard). We will be automatically notified of your payment.
The amount will be authorized (reserved), and will be captured manually by us when we guarantee the stock of the products in your order and the possibility of sending to the indicated address (confirm authorized vs captured).
The credit card payment is processed by the Stripe payment portal, which guarantees the total security of the transaction through an encrypted connection using a SSL security certificate installed on our server.
5.5 Paypal
When selecting this payment method you must enter the email and password from your account. It is not necessary to send the payment receipt.
The amount will be authorized (reserved), and will be captured manually by us when we guarantee the stock of the products in your order and the possibility of sending them to the indicated address.
Paypal payment is a secure method used all over the world. For more informations about this payment method, visit www.paypal.com. The transaction is made on PayPal’s servers, so Peugada does not save the transaction data.
5.6 Payment on delivery
By selecting Free Pickup in 1h, you can choose to pay on delivery. Payment with cash or MBWay. You will receive an SMS informing when the order is ready for pickup.
6. Information about Peugada’s products and services
The product information on this Website is based on information provided by suppliers.
Therefore, Peugada declines any responsibility for the occurrence of errors in this information, although it commits to take all measures in its power to correct such errors or omissions as soon as possible after having been informed of them.
7. Deadlines, delivery locations and losses
7.1. Product delivery
Peugada commits to deliver the product in perfect condition to the address indicated by the user. In order to optimize delivery, we would like to thank the user for indicating an address where the order can be delivered within normal working hours.
To avoid incidents during delivery (wrong addresses, impossibility of contacting someone at the address, etc…), it is essential to correctly fill in the respective form, and it is mandatory to fill in the field corresponding to the telephone number (recommended that it is a mobile phone).
Peugada will not be responsible for delivery errors when these are due to the fact that the address entered on the form by the user does not conform to reality, is false or has been omitted.
Without prejudice to the foregoing, Peugada undertakes to adopt the measures at its disposal so that the delivery of orders can be made within the agreed time or, if this is not possible, to be carried out as soon as possible.
7.2 Delivery time and notification
Peugada ships orders to mainland Portugal and islands, Spain (excluding islands and regions of Ceuta, Melilla and Gibraltar) and other countries of the European Union, offering different delivery services for each area.
Mainland Portugal:
- Normal Shipping: delivery time 2-3 working days.
- Pickup DPD: 1-2 working days.
- Pickup in 1h: available in our pickup point 1h after purchase.
Portugal Islands:
- Normal Shipping: delivery time 3-7 working days.
Spain, excluding islands and regions of Ceuta, Melilla and Gibraltar:
- Normal Shipping: delivery time 2-4 working days.
Other European Union Countries
- Normal Shipping: 3-10 working days.
Delivery times are estimated and start counting after payment is made, where you receive an email stating that your order is being processed. For example, if the user made his purchase by bank transfer or by ATM (Referência Multibanco), the delivery period for the product will start to run from the business day following the confirmation of the order value entering in the Peugada’s account.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, we inform that the stipulated delivery times are estimated.
Peugada informs that it will not be possible to send orders to PO Boxes.
Peugada will not carry out deliveries or shipments on Saturdays and Sundays, nor on national or municipal holidays.
7.3 Shipping Costs
The cost is calculated based on the total weight of the order and the delivery service.
To know the exact cost, add the products you want to the cart. On the Cart or Checkout page, you will be shown the shipping cost after filling in your address.
Free Shipping
Shipping is free for deliveries in mainland Portugal, with no weight limit, as long as the purchase is equal to or greater than €50. Free shipping applies to Normal Shipping. For the islands (Portugal), free shipping is for purchases of €75 or more.
Exception for special free shipping campaigns with other values for minimum purchase.
7.4 Delivery Methods
Peugada chooses the most suitable logistic partner for the user’s delivery address. For the pickup delivery method, we use the DPD network.
Peugada is not responsible for any delays that are the responsibility of the carrier.
7.5 Diligence in the delivery
The customer must prove the good condition of the package. In case it is not in good condition, it is important to have photos for later assessment and subsequent complaint to the shipping carrier company.
If the customer detects any anomaly in the product, he must indicate it on the delivery receipt and notify to Peugada by email: loja@peugada.pt.
8. Returns and right of withdrawal
8.1. Returns for manufacturing defects
All products offered through this Website will be completely original, unless otherwise indicated in the description. All of them have a 2 year warranty period from receipt of the product. This guarantee will be provided by the Supplier.
Taking into account that this Website sells products that have a life/use period typically less than 2 years, it will be understood, unless proven otherwise, that the products are in accordance with the contract provided they meet all requirements which are mentioned below: a) are in accordance with the description made by the seller and have the product characteristics presented by the seller to the user in the form of a sample model; b) are fit for the use for which products of the same type are intended; c) present the usual quality and characteristics of a product of the same type that the consumer and user can reasonably expect, according to the nature of the product.
Peugada’s customers benefit from the guarantee given by the different manufacturers of each item. Defects or imperfections resulting from incorrect use or handling of the material or wear and tear produced by its use are not included in this warranty. The shortages in the functionality of the items, due to their design limitations, are also excluded from the coverage of this warranty.
During the warranty period, the user may return to Peugada, at no cost, any product that presents a manufacturing defect. To formalize the return, the customer must contact Peugada via email loja@peugada.pt, indicating the product or products being returned, the detailed information of the defects found in them and attaching the photograph. After receiving this communication, Peugada’s customer service team will manage the collection of the defective product for shipment to our facilities, at no cost to the user.
In the event of a defective product, Peugada will proceed, as necessary, to repair, replace, reduce the price or terminate the contract, actions that will be free of charge for the customer. The customer must inform the seller of the lack of conformity within two months of becoming aware of it.
Each product to be returned must be unused and with all labels, packaging and, if applicable, documentation and original accessories that came with it. By not proceeding in this way, Peugada reserves the right to refuse the return.
Once the product has been received, Peugada will return the corresponding amounts paid as soon as possible and, in any case, within fourteen (14) days following receipt of the product at Peugada’s facilities.
8.2. The right to terminate the contract
The customer has a period of 14 consecutive days, from the date of delivery of the goods, to return his order, and without the need to indicate the reason, in accordance with the provisions of 1st article 10 of DL nº 24/ 2014 of February 14, being Peugada’s responsibility the direct cost of the requested exchange or return.
8.3. Withdrawals, Exchanges and Returns
If the user wishes to make an exchange or a return, he must send an email to loja@peugada.pt stating this desire.
After receiving this communication, Peugada’s customer service team will inform you of your order number and how to proceed with the exchange or return.

Alternatively, the user can send an email to loja@peugada.pt so that Peugada’s customer service team can manage the exchange or return as soon as possible.
Each product to be returned must be in perfect condition, unworn and with all labels, packaging and, if applicable, documentation and original accessories that came with it. By not proceeding in this way, Peugada reserves the right to refuse the return.
Once the product has been received, Peugada will return the corresponding amounts paid as soon as possible and, in any case, within fourteen (14) days following receipt of the product at Peugada’s facilities.
It is not accepted exchanges or returns of custom item made according to customer specifications.
9. Intellectual and industrial property
All rights over the content, design and source code of this Website and, in particular, with an enunciative but non-limiting character, over the photographs, images, texts, logos, designs, brands, trade names, data included in the Website and any other intellectual and industrial property rights, are owned by Peugada, who is responsible for the exclusive exercise of the rights to exploit them, or, if applicable, Peugada has a license or authorization from the authors, and are protected by Portuguese law, under the Code of Copyright and Related Rights, the Industrial Property Code and other applicable legislation, as well as international treaties, copyrights or registered trademarks.
Peugada does not grant any license or authorization of use of any kind on its intellectual and industrial property rights or on any other property or right related to the Website, and in no case will it be understood that the user’s access and navigation implies a total or partial waiver, transfer, license or assignment of such rights by Peugada. Any use of such previously unauthorized content by Peugada will be considered a serious breach of intellectual or industrial property rights and will give rise to the legally established responsibilities.
10. Responsability
Peugada does not grant any guarantee nor is it liable, in any case, for damages of any nature that may result from access to or use of the products or contents of the Website. Among others, and by way of enunciation, but not limitation, Peugada is not responsible for the following consequences:
Loss, damage, retention or delay in delivery of the order due to fortuitous causes or acts attributed to the user.
The lack of availability, maintenance and effective functioning of the Website and/or the services or contents, excluding, to the maximum extent permitted by current legislation, any liability for damages of any nature that may be due to the lack of availability or continuity of operation of the Website, such as, for example, errors or delays in accessing the Website by the user when entering their data in the order form, the slowness or impossibility of receiving the order confirmation or any anomaly that may arise that is beyond the good faith of Peugada.
The lack of usefulness of the Website or the contents for any service.
The content of other websites on the Internet which this Website links to.
The existence of viruses, malicious or harmful programs on this Website.
Unlawful, negligent, fraudulent use contrary to these Terms and Conditions or to good faith, the Website or its contents by users, including any infringement of the intellectual and/or industrial property rights of Peugada or third parties. In any case, Peugada commits to solve any problems that may arise and to offer all the necessary support to the user in order to reach a quick and satisfactory solution to any incident. The liability of Peugada in the event of any claim shall be understood, in any case, limited to the refund of the sum paid by the user for the purchase of the product or contracting of the service. In this sense, and to the fullest extent permitted by current legislation, the company will not assume any liability for indirect damages, and in particular for any loss, damage, claim, liability, expense, penalty, emergent damage, loss of profit or any other concept whatever it could be or regardless of when it was produced.
11. Opinions and comments
Users may participate in the Website with comments, as long as their content is not illegal, inappropriate, obscene, abusive, threatening, false, defamatory, invades the privacy of third parties, infringes intellectual property rights or whenever it is not insulting or otherwise objectionable to third parties and does not contain computer viruses, political advertising, advertising content, chain emails, mass emails or any other type of “spam”.
Peugada may remove from its Website comments that infringe the rights of Peugada or third parties, as well as these Terms and Conditions.
12. Modifications
The information that appears on the Website is that valid at the date of its last update. Peugada reserves the right to update, modify or delete the information on this Website, as well as these Terms and Conditions, the privacy policy or any other information. The amendments to the Terms and Conditions will be effecting from the time of their publication on the Website.

14. Nullity and effectiveness of clauses
If any clause included in these Terms and Conditions were declared, in whole or in part, null or ineffective, such nullity or ineffectiveness will only affect said provision or the part thereof that is considered null or ineffective, the rest of the clauses remain effecting and being ineffective only the affected clause in its total or in part.
15. Applicable law
The Terms and Conditions presented apply to Portuguese law, governed by the District of Lisbon North, rejecting from now on any other forum.
